Painted at the 2018 Morristown Public Library Plein Air. Because of the hot sunny day I needed my shade umbrella which I could only stick in the soil of the mound created by the beavers. Then I set my easel up on the evelated boardwalk at 1/2 height and stood on dried vegetation on the mound so I wloud be painting eye level with the canvas.
Artist Statement I produce a lot of St Lawrence River Art featuring the Thousand Islands Region because that is where I live and find inspiration, as well as inspiration from travel and Museum visits.
