Description
A plein air painting done on November 30th along the St Lawrence River in the Ontario Canada section of the 1000 Islands Region. The view is from the 1000 Islands Parkway where the bridge crosses Jones Creek that flows into the St Lawrence River, NE of Browns Bay Park. A 50 degree F day with occasional sunshine and very little breeze made for an ideal plein air day this time of year up North. Residual snow from our first big snow storm of the season appears on a earthen dam structure in the foreground. I have driven past this location for years and have always wanted to paint it. There are several good views to choose from and the 4 seasons provide many alternative. I will be back.
